CP Pallets
Chemical pallets, also known as CP pallets, are standardised reusable wooden pallets, originally designed for the transport and storage of chemical products. The material, load capacity, and construction of the nine different types (CP1 to CP9) are each precisely defined.
Types CP1 to CP5 feature skids and are intended for lighter loads, while CP6 to CP9 are stronger and more robust, designed to carry heavier or specialised goods. The load capacity of chemical pallets is an approximate value that indicates the point of failure under a fully distributed and evenly applied load.
Advantages of Chemical Pallets:
-
CP pallets are part of a Europe-wide return and reuse system, which promotes sustainability through recovery and recycling.
-
Each pallet type is specifically engineered for different types of cargo, with many formats aligned to container dimensions to optimise international transport.
-
CP pallets are made from regulated wood types specified in industry standards. The quality and processing of the timber are strictly controlled, ensuring high load-bearing capacity and long service life.
